What wonderful tributes I have been hearing on the news. My prayers are with his family. My heart aches for Mrs. Reagan.

This might be under no politics here....I always thought Nancy was always a class act. Imagine taking care of your spouse for years after they don't know who you are.Nancy took the best care of one of our best Presidents.

I don't think this is politics at all. I see it as being about another human being who just happened to be our president once. Yes, he was a great man, politics or not. He was a great actor before he was a great president. He was a great Christian leader and family man first and foremost. GOD and family came first with him. He is safe in the arms of JESUS now and his mind is crystal clear. He has all the answers to all the questions he ever had, knows why life went the way it did for him and his loved ones, etc. I too pray for his family in this time of loss.

I can't help but feel deep sadness at the passing of such a fine gentleman and statesman. He was exceptional.

And after all these years, and all the hardships, one can still see the love for her husband in Mrs. Reagan's eyes. She protected him to the end. My prayers are with both.

What always impressed me the most about this couple was that they were a "hollywood couple" who actually stayed married after all these years. Its a shame the others don't follow their example.

My mom also had alzheimers. It is like they left you long before they passed away. They don't know you, and you don't know them. It is very sad.
Mrs. Reagan is a class act and so was the President.

Could not agree enough with all of
you..]
Our local funeral home is having
a memorial service for him.
I plan to attend. I think he
really made a difference and
we did feel like we knew him
personally.
He was a true gentle man.
