I finally, after taking 5 years to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, registered for classes, full time, at FLCC. They have a wonderful horticulture department. I am taking soil sciences, intro to hort, plant materials, Bio, and wilderness camping(needed a fun one) Soooo excited! They have a wonderful program, and after I get this stuff out of the way I can concentrate on propagation, organic food and all the fun stuff I really want to learn about! I hope you're all ready for the questions I'm gonna have! Mere
Well... I did it!
Oh wow, i am so envious!!!!!
Just noticed you were from Naples. My husband grew up in Cohocton, i dont think thats too far from you.
We had his 20th year class reunion at a restaurant in naples 4 years ago? Rosewood, redwood? probably way off base with the name, eh? lol

NO your not actually. It's the Redwood. We go there once in a while for Breakfast... Great food. Cohocton isn't too far. Next town and a half over I think. I just moved to Naples this past year. It's very pretty down here.
hpluver, my daughter took some of those same courses at FLCC. She took me to the greenhouse and I thought I was in heaven. She gave me some plants but that was back in '97-'98. She quit with one semester to go and moved to the Virgin Islands, became a waitress and has been there since 1999. She gardens there but with such different plants!! Her dream was to be the gardener for an estate there and spend all her days putzing with the plants and enjoying the surf and sun.
I live in Himrod which is half way between Geneva and Watkins Glen on the west side about 45 minutes from FLCC.
