CBS 60 Minutes concluded their program this evening with music and the pictures of the young men and women who have lost their lives in the on going war. At least we had an opportunity to put a face with the statistics. How beautiful they appeared! These Sons and Daughters, Brothers and Sisters, Mothers, and Fathers, Husband and Wives. I was over come with great emotion considering the sacrifices they have made. Let us remember them and their families with our thoughts and prayers.

I saw part of it and couldnt watch the rest. It was a very nice tribute. Glad they did it. :)

AMEN. Our gratitude should know no bounds. My husband would have been so proud of the new memorial. He was only seventeen and enlisted the day after Pearl Harbor. He spent four years in the Pacific. I look at his picture in his Navy whites, and there a young, proud face looks back at me. We ask our young men and women to make such sacrifices....they should be in our prayers daily.
