Summer vacation started:)

Our summer vacation started yesterday, no school for several months. Well, I have summer job till midsummer (24.6) but that's a nice job in a market garden, so it's fun.
But after that it's all vacation, heheheh. Now I have more time to spend in DG, and you sure are gonna see more pictures from Finland.

Enjoy your summer, as I know that young students really need to relax after a long term of studying. Wow, your new job sounds like it could be fun. You will learn more about flowers, and will probably teach many people as you have learned so much from just reading around DG.

So where is Evert off to this time? Hope he enjoys his time off also.

I am packing my things here... we are leaving tomorrow for UK & Ireland. We will take the ferry from Norway to England, then stay 2 nights in a nice B&B in the Scottish countryside. That is all we've planned, so we don't know the rest.. We will see :)

The comprehensive school for me and Mitjo is now over - it is 9 years in Finland. I choosed to go to an upper secondary school in Kauniainen, I took my final school report there yesterday, and they said "with this average value of the numbers you will be in for sure, welcome..". I hope I make it.

Mitjo, did you hear anything from the IB-school you are going to? Did they take you in?

Enjoy your summer too in California SoCal. I am sure it's gonna be warm one.
Yes, my new job sure is fun, and it includes more than just cleaning and stuff. I help costomers and use cash-register. The information what I have got from Davesgarden sure is usefull.

:) Evert, like I said before I sure am very jealous. hehehe. I wish I could come with you. Well, heheh, however, enjoy your trip, I am sure it's gonna be interesting. Ireland must be beautiful.

Boys! Y'all having fun and have a safe trip on vacation.

Talk about summer vacation..... it just ended here yesterday. All schools here have reopened today for the new academic year. So my 2 Ds will have to go back to the school routine and my DW, busy shouting at them (and me --- in the garden) to get ready and things like that! June 1 is supposed to be the beginning of the monsoon rains here and it has arrived about 15 days early. We are having lots of rains. We have had a very short summer, unlike what we all feared - long summer, water scarcity, power shutdown.... But Rain God has been kind this year.
