How about our crazy weather today of 104 deg? Also, my granddaughter was at Schlitterbahn when the storm and lightning hit. I pray none of the people hit by lightning are seriously hurt.
Oh Sylvia, I'm so sorry that none of the cuttings took! Did the babies from my GH survive? Mine are all huge now, and several have y'd, one has buds!
Oh this weather is the pits. DH refuses to turn the a/c below 80 and I'm dying here. But its better than outside LOL! I mowed in this weather, then had to cook dinner on the grill, ugh!
That was something bout the lightning strike on the Comal. Your grandaughter is okay, I hope??? They said one of the people is in critical condition! Too bad that EMS didn't have the foresight to fly them to UH or another more suitable facility. I hope if I'm ever in need of a hospital I'll be alert enough to direct them to take me to the appropriate facility. I am digressing, sorry. But, I do hope they are all okay!
I'll tell you what about this brug, though. Its the biggest mite attractant in my garden at the moment. I have scrubbed and scrubbed, and tomorrow I'm going to get some miticide. Funny, the mites are only on the ones blooming right now, but they are terrible on this one! Guess we ladies must suffer to be beautiful, LOL! you have a great evening!!!

Gretchen, I called my daughter yesterday as soon as we saw it on tv. She had gone and picked up the daughter that was at Schlitterbahn, but couldn't get ahold of the daughter that had gone tubing on river. Since I haven't heard anything today, I'm assuming everything is alright. As for McKenna Hospital, my mother died in that hospital from a punctured lung they didn't detect that was caused in an automobile accident.
Oh Sylvia! I had no idea, and I'm so sorry!!! Honestly, given the choice, I wouldn't take Cleo there, and she's four legged... Too bad the only hospital in the county is so sub-standard!
