National Home Gardeners Club

I have just received a mailing for this club, I see they send six magazines a year ("Gardening How To") and possibly some other free seeds and gardening gear. Is it worth joining this club or should I rather spend my $12 on more plants? :>) I'd love to hear your opinions.

Thanks Gardenwife - how did you find that? I did a search for "National Home Gardeners Club" and another for "Gardening How To Magazine" and came up with nothing. I don't think I will join - reading through the lines of the comments it looks like it might not be all it promises.

I have found that my membership to Dave's Garden has provided me with all the information I need, and MORE! Plus, the members are so very nice, helpful, and there for you when you need them. Why join another one? Just my thoughts!

I searched the Garden Watchdog for "national home gardening club" (without the quotes) and there was just the one result. You have to scroll down just a bit in order to see the search result - easy to miss.

I see what I did - "Gardeners" instead of "Gardening" messed me up... I'm glad I'm finding a friend here :>)
