LOL! Well, it is 5:17 in the morning and still dark out there. Dark and cold. Maybe I will go outside with a flashlight and look.
I bought some plants yesterday that want to be photographed at night. LOL
I just braved the elements and went out. I am so cold now I will have to go back to bed to warm up! It is 7 AM and I should be off the farmers' market soon. No change!!
but now its bloom mate is opening. Look how green it is!
oooo can't wait to see what color will be.

A lot of my doubles open really green like that. :-)

I'm not sure about the double part, but it is going to be pink, I think. Hey, maybe it will turn lavender or purple. Red would be good too. I just know it isn't going to be white. LOL!!

LOL Girls....I wish it would be purple! That would definately be a hoot! And great for Kell too! If you wish extremely hard for pink....is it possible for it to turn purple? LOL

Has everyone including me, given up?? The only change is a cucumber beetle has made 2 holes in the calyx and died a horrible death.

I'm in for the long haul on this one....I'm not going anywhere.....
If it's going to tease us this long, at least it's teasing us with the right color.....PINK.... Maybe it's just making sure ALL of its skirts are juuuust right...lol
However a 3rd bud is emerging and it is so green. An intense green. I have never seen a brug flower emerge this dark.
I was so sure it would be open when I got home tonight. I am naming it Dud!!

Is it THAT cold there, Kell? That green one sure is dark. It would be fun to get an all green one. Is the green on the same bush as the "Tease"? Well, let's hope we get to see it before the "Big" weekend! :)
I hate to disappoint everyone but this brug bloom went limp!!! I think we have to wait until the next bud opens. If it can. If not, it then is the ugliest brug alive. I am so unhappy. I wonder if I touched it too much? LOL
I will post the next one when it is closer to opening.
Oh sorry, Kell. The next bloom will be better. It was just teasing you.
