Must be a big, beautiful, dark pink double and it is opening slowly so you won't have a heart attack when you see it.
Mini, I was thinking the same thing, doubles look like that when they start to emerge! No sushi for sure now Kell, you can't leave and have the first USA double pink open when you're out eating raw fish(or squid or octopus or whatever they put in that stuff)

This morning one tendril has uncurled. It is very cold here. It will take days!

The first flower always takes a longer time to open and as more as you look at it the longer it seems to take.
