On seedling watch!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

And I am so excited AGAIN! This is too much fun. I have no clue what this is. I will crawl around at some later date and see if I can find the tag. I really screwed up last year in labeling in my tag method. Live and learn.

The tendrils already look a little PINK to me! LOL

Those look like nice fat buds! I hope it turns out to be a good one!

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

Does this one look a bit odd to you? I do not remember them being so gnarly after have emerged to this extent.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Wow, Kell. It does look odd but it'll probably be beautifu.

Thanks Shelly, it's so great to be back. I missed all of you terribly.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Must be a big, beautiful, dark pink double and it is opening slowly so you won't have a heart attack when you see it.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Mini, I was thinking the same thing, doubles look like that when they start to emerge! No sushi for sure now Kell, you can't leave and have the first USA double pink open when you're out eating raw fish(or squid or octopus or whatever they put in that stuff)

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

I can't wait to see it in full bloom! Who parents? I didn't see any names of parents of this seedling.. It should be very intersting to find what color it will be.. Ur plants looks so healthy.. Are they in ground?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I can't remember if I had any double brug makings last year. I do not know parents yet Mini. I need to crawl along the bottom of my brug garden to see if I can find it.

This morning one tendril has uncurled. It is very cold here. It will take days!

LOL Susie, now I have to go out and squeeze that bloom to see if it is a double. LOL

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Dont squeeze to hard Kell so we dont have to wait for the next bud to open lol!
The first flower always takes a longer time to open and as more as you look at it the longer it seems to take.

Hot Springs, AR(Zone 7b)

Kell,

*sigh* we're waiting....Anything yet? How about another photo?

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Quit watching it so close, Kell. LOL A watched pot never boils.

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Kell, that last picture is a doozie. If I didn't know it was a brug bud I might think it is a weird wild sheep's head !!! Sure hope it blooms deep pink for you. Donna

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

PUT THE SUSHI DOWN!!!!

is it open????

I can't go to sleep till I know....Ok,maybe I can,but I still want to know

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL CC, the sushi shushi was A ++ tonite. So good we are going again tomorrow night. Had Japanese uni and it was to die for. W each had 2 orders.

Anyway, it has not budged. It is very cool here. Maybe a shade pinker.

Lewiston, CA(Zone 7b)

We are all here waiting holding our breath!
Have you put your sleeping bag out there yet? :)
I think I'd be camped out there if it were mine!
Keep us posted!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Very interesting bud . . it sure does not look like a single to me. It appears that it has long tendrils. I bet this one is going to be a beauty Kell.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Well Kell, how does it look today? Any news?

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I wish it would hurry up and open. I'm dying of anticipation. LOL
