very slow site this am

Even Chat is almost not moving at all and alot of my postings in chat arnt going thru. Try to go to a forum and if it gets thru at all takes several minutes.

I spoke with Dave this morning. Apparently it's a problem with the ISP that hosts the DG sites. Another server (not ours) is hogging all the bandwidth. The ISP administrators are working to fix the problem ASAP ;o)

Where is Dave and Terry? Yes! The site is almost not moving at all .

I think the expression slow is still too fast.
it's more like a stand-still with rare erratic movements :)
Dave must be running the server with one 28k modem today LOL.

FYI: The site is up for now, but there may be some outages/slowdowns before everything is fully restored. (hopefully not, and/or not-for-long!)

Thank you for letting us know Terry. Now all I have to do is hold my addiction for Thursday morning chats in check. I missed not being able to talk to everyone.
This is why we need teleportation, that way we could all meet up in one spot, go to starbucks, drink coffee so much we need to go potty several times and then each walk out with a big bag of coffee grounds that make your car smell scrumptious on the way home. Of course it would be the teleporter instead of the car but you get my meaning. heehee
So seriously how soon can you guys get a teleporter hooked up?

Very slow right now, in the wee hours. I get the column headers for a while, and finally the rest loads. In most threads, everything except the sidebar loads, and then it takes a long time for the sidebar to appear. In the meantime the "skip to new" does not work, not until the sidebar appears and the page reformats to accommodate it.

Yep, only crawling. VEry annoying.

The speed is up but I can only send through 50k or less. Last night I had to go to a 14k in photos forum.
