Thanks Smiln for welcoming me. I think this will be alot of fun and a great place to learn all I can about gardening.
A thank you to smiln
Welcome to Dave's Garden. You will love it here!
Greetings from Chile,
Ursula
Welcome Tulip523. Greetings "neighbor".
Thank you Ursula. How long have you been here and what is your expertese? You're right this is a very nice place and I like it already.
Hi elsie we sure are neighbors. You're in Sussex counry, right?
Ahhh the garden state is grand isn't it.
A hearty WELCOME TO DG, tulip!
Come on in and set a spell. Be seein' ya around! ;>)
Well, I hope you have as delightful a time as I do here. I just can't get enough of this site - and it's fantastic array of folks.
Hello to a NJ person from a WI person, whose dearest sister and BIL are in NJ!!!!!
Yes Tulip I'm in Sussex County. I think we're in the greener parts of the Garden State.
A hearty Midwest hello, Tulip!!! Bear with the site these last couple of days..server problems you know. Don't let it discourage you as Dave our fearless leader has his fingers clickin' away like crazy to keep us all fed on our passion...gardening!!
Seriously, though this is the BEST PLACE ON THE WEB if you like gardening even a little bit and certainly the best place on earth (besides your own garden) if you LOVE gardening!!
We've been having lots of discussions lately about newcomers finding all the great things so I'll try to list some of them so you don't miss a thing:
1. Stop in the Welcome Mat Forum and introduce yourself if you haven't already.
2. Pop over to the COOP Forum to see what it's about .... a bit slow right now but it'll pick up. You can get some great deals on great plants.
3. Head on over to JOURNAL under "Your Tools" on the right hand side of the screen and see what you can do to keep yourself organized.
4. And while there (Your Tools) check out the Trade Lists and Trade Tracker as well, so nice features if you like to trade.
5. Last but not least, the FAQ, "A Tour of DG" and Daves Garden Forum are your pit stops if you get stuck or have a question.
6. Oh! And I shouldn't forget if you like to trade there is the Seed Trading and Plant Trading Forums.
I think that's the highlights, but there are multitudes of forums to choose from....check 'em all out and find the ones that suit your interests. There will surely be several. You can add those forums to your Preferences lists so they pop up automatically when you log in.
Did I say, "Welcome"? LOL!!
Brenda
