35 Years

Tomorrow Hank & I celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We were talking today about how so much has changed since our wedding. On the day we got married, there were:

no cell phones
no cordless phones
no answering machines
all phones were rotary dial
no satellite
no cable
no wireless anything
no pc's
no credit cards

Wow! I think I just got really really old! LOL

edited to add no remote controls either...you actually had to get up and change channels and turn the tv on or off YIKES!

Happy anniversary. 35 years is a real acheivement now days.
It's amazing all the things we just fine without back then, isn't it.

ahhhh...How cute!!! Congratulations to both of you!! So after 35 years how many times have you looked at your DH and knew exactly what he was thinking before he said anything? How many times have you finished a sentence for him?

Thank you so much for all the good wishes. We had a WONDERFUL day :-) Sledder, the reason God fixes it so we no longer have to talk is because we're so deaf at our age LOL....Below is a special delivery from our very dear Horseshoe. God bless ya bud...you are the man!

We were married 35 years as well this month and I agree with the "no list" with one exception.......NO KIDS.

I got to talk to them on the tellyphone this evening folks! They were as giddy as newly-weds! What a breath of fresh air they are!

I could understand most of what Hank said...(he was sneaking all the chocolate they received as a gift!) and in between words I could hear Vic *sniff sniff-ing flowers! I feel they were both very very happy!!

In this day and age, 35 years together (and still alive to tell about it!) is a wondrous thing! Happy Smiles and Congrats!
