I think I remember when I signed up almost a year ago that one of the features of the PDB was a "locate all plants grown within XX miles of XXXXX zip code". I know I've seen it somewhere and now cannot find it. Am I mistaken? And I actually see such pages when I google for a given plant and one of the results I sometimes get is a "Plants grown happily by (membername)". Or I'll see...."Comments by (membername). How do I find that feature within the PDB?

Secondary question....is there a way to look up member names in the PDB? I want to find all the pics or comments made by a given person, but can't find an easy way to do that. I know if they are a DG subscriber I can do it but what if they aren't and are only using the PDB?

I think everyone who contributes to the PDB or the Watchdog or whatever, is a member of DG and has a DG member page that you can look up. If it says X comments (where X is the number of comments contributed to the PDB), click on that and you'll get the "Comments by (membername)" page. Same with images and such.

For the zip code thing, I can't find an easy way to it, either. But you can get to the page you want by going here
http://plantsdatabase.com/zipbyzip.php?zip=70538
and replacing the zip in the url with your zip.
