Missing Country/Location

For some reason my location and country has disappeared from under my member name. I went into preferences yesterday and put it back in, only to find it still isn't there. Is there something I'm missing here?

Well, Baa did you move??? And perhaps didn't know it? Or remember? Hmmm???? (*grin*)...just kidding of course.

Dave, I wonder if this is related to the recent country/location stuff you've been working on?

Baa, all we have in your preferences right now is the country. Would you mind to go back and enter in the city, also? Once you do that, let me check again your profile.

(Or, at least, tell me here what you wanted the city to be.)

I live in some rural suburb almost exactly between two cities so I put the county (again) instead (which is much better for me since I'm due to move ;)

Baa, it appears to be working correctly now - is it for you? that must have been a temporary hiccup I guess.

Hmm the system has chopped my location off again

The only info I see for Baa is Zone 9a.

My location has disappeared again!

I think I may have to remain locationless (at the risk of the wrath of Ulrich too ;)

Baa, you could move here - I'll take you in and let you use my location. Perhaps your's is just too exotic for the system - 9a in rainy old Britain indeed! lol

Hey you and yours could move here and suffer our mild winters which last about 8 weeks, warm summers and long springs and autumns. Of course you'd have to put up with the ubiquitous Morris Dancers and folk music at the country fairs but I'm sure you can cope ;) I think I've only ever milked cows in one blizzard in 10 years, plenty of deluges but snow is a brief delight here. Talking of deluges, we haven't had one for a few weeks!

I could probably deal with the Morris Dancers and I'm a bit of an old folky, ballads and all. I do need to be able to wear my large and decorative collection of flannel shirts at least once in every month of the year, though, and what is life without blizzards????
