Kell.. that is absolutely stunning! I love the color, the shape and the tendrils. Good job!
Please all think dark pink!
I love it, too!
Love it Kell.
I really like this seedling Kell. I bet it will be super dark this summer(especially if it were in TX, lol)
kell...I love the color and the little flip to the petals! I think you got yourself a winner! Good for you!
Congrats, Kell! Its simply gorgeous!
I'm lovin' the looks of this one Kell. Very pretty and dark to boot.
Great job Kell....it' looking great and so much darker! (And soooo pretty too)
Loving it. Good job, "Queenie"!
You got hold of some fish poop, didn't you? Love it.
Kell, it is getting more beautiful each day. I think Susie is right, we need to see how this one will darken up in Texas.
Thanks all for all your pink wishes!
It is still cold here. Right now it is in the low 50s. So I am really thinking this one will be dark. You can't really see it in photos, but there is pink pigment going all the way up the corolla tube.
I keep forgetting she is Susie's and not mine. And I looked right next to it and there is another pot of this cross. I bet I have a few out in the brug garden too but may never know which is which. I should start a thread on it, how not to plant a brugling garden that turns into a brug mess!
Susie, there is a nice side piece growing. I will get it to you so you can see if it is one you want to grow for your store.
This is about a 6 ft tall tree in a 5 gallon pot.
And she is a BIG girl! LOL
Kell and Susie, she really is a looker. I'm loving the picture updates.
She's a beauty and she's DARK PINK...congratulations to you both! :D
Good job Kell & Calla. That is just gorgeous. Linda
Kell, it is a real beauty!
Oh gosh!!! Kell and Susie, congratulations!! Wow! Im so excited for you Kell!
Just beautiful Kell, Way to go Suzie, Congrats to you both. I am just thrilled that yall have a new pink. :o)
Dee
If she's that dark for you Kell, I bet she will be super dark in a warmer climate. I can't wait to see how this cross does other places in the country. It sure is a beautiful flower.
Wow Kell! It's a beauty ;o) I'd be a proud Momma to have that one in my yard.
Kell and Susie congratulations to both of you. This one sure looks like a winner.
I love it Kell, I have a few of this cross growing also. I hope mine come
out as good as yours.
Patricia
Oooooooooo....Kell...I am doing "The Pink Happy Dance" for you and Susie! WTG girls! That pic is just beautiful and such a vivid dark color! Wow!!!! No wonder you're SooooThrilled!
That is a real looker Kell!!! Nice size too.
Beautiful Kell. You are truly the queen of pink.
KEEPER KEEPER Keeper!!!! HOORAY...way to go ladies!!!
She is such a beautiful flower
Absolutely gorgeous!!! WTG Kell and Susie!!
LOL Donna!
Thanks all. I have had so much fun with this one. I have 2 more seedlings that now have had their corollas emerge. So I am back again on seedling watch!
Thanks Susies for letting me grow this one for you. It is my favorite pink that I have!! If it is floriferous, it will be perfect. Though I need to smell it.
I was getting so depressed. I kept looking at this one and it seemed to be doing nothing. I had repotted it in a huge pot and moved it to full sun to be the centerpiece of my courtyard and it just sat. It is my best brug I have so far of which I have seen the flower.
I was thinking, just my luck, I get a special brug that only makes one flower a year. I walked by it today and looked up and I have achieved multibud at each junction!!!
Kell, this is typical for versicolor influence. They probably will open all at once. Your baby will put on a show!!!
Kell, you are a lucky girl and all your work paid off!! Congrats!!! I cannot wait to see it bloom...
WTG Kell. I can hardly wait to see the next blooms, it is such a pretty flower.
Wonderful!! That sure would make my day!
Yeaaaa!!! Can't wait to see new pics.
Kell, all of your Brug crazyness has paid off. It is a beautiful one. Great cross Susie. What do you do with all of those many you have planted all over, in the winter?
Keep up the good work!
Bj
Well, we were all really thinking hard "be dark pink, be dark pink", but we live so far away that by the time those thoughts reached California, they wound up on your other brug seedling! Hey, whatever works, huh?
