Kell, it is getting more beautiful each day. I think Susie is right, we need to see how this one will darken up in Texas.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks all for all your pink wishes!

It is still cold here. Right now it is in the low 50s. So I am really thinking this one will be dark. You can't really see it in photos, but there is pink pigment going all the way up the corolla tube.

I keep forgetting she is Susie's and not mine. And I looked right next to it and there is another pot of this cross. I bet I have a few out in the brug garden too but may never know which is which. I should start a thread on it, how not to plant a brugling garden that turns into a brug mess!

Susie, there is a nice side piece growing. I will get it to you so you can see if it is one you want to grow for your store.

This is about a 6 ft tall tree in a 5 gallon pot.

And she is a BIG girl! LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Donna!

Thanks all. I have had so much fun with this one. I have 2 more seedlings that now have had their corollas emerge. So I am back again on seedling watch!

Thanks Susies for letting me grow this one for you. It is my favorite pink that I have!! If it is floriferous, it will be perfect. Though I need to smell it.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I was getting so depressed. I kept looking at this one and it seemed to be doing nothing. I had repotted it in a huge pot and moved it to full sun to be the centerpiece of my courtyard and it just sat. It is my best brug I have so far of which I have seen the flower.

I was thinking, just my luck, I get a special brug that only makes one flower a year. I walked by it today and looked up and I have achieved multibud at each junction!!!

Well, we were all really thinking hard "be dark pink, be dark pink", but we live so far away that by the time those thoughts reached California, they wound up on your other brug seedling! Hey, whatever works, huh?
