I am freaking out!!!!!!

My son just came over with the news. I am going to be a grandmother for the first time!!!!!!!! I am so excited I cant stand it!!!!!!

Boy, Isn't that great news. I'm so happy for you. I remember my first grandchild. I got to help with the delivery. Between the tears of joy falling in my eyes I got to catch her coming into the world. I must say it was the most wonderful experience that my daughter could have given me. It was also nice being on the other end this time. Heheh. That was 13 grandchildren ago and I get just as excited with the news of a new one. I do hope they have all decided that we have have enough though. Congradulations Grandma! Sounds kinda of neat huh?

I am so happy for you, ryalff. Grandchildren are the iceing on the cake, and great grandchildren are the sprinkles on the iceing on the cake. It just gets better, and BETTER!!!!!

I have 4 now, but I was able to be with my first one. And I remember crying because the nurse wasn't going to let me hold her. She then brought her to me and said, "Do you want me to take your picture?" It is one of my treasured pictures and that little sweetie was with me at the KY RU last year.

Oh yea, I remember that same feeling when my DD gave us the exciting news 2 years ago. I was on cloud nine for the whole nine months of waiting to meet my new grandson.
My DH and I are so involved in his life now, and he loves it when papa and gama come to visit or he comes to our home.
