Subscription Renewal/Garden Angel Fund

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

I am getting ready to renew my subscription online and I would like to add some money for the Garden Angel fund. How do I do that?

What's the Garden Angel fund? To help if disaster strikes someone's garden? Hadn't heard of this yet.

As I understand it, it is a fund to purchase subscriptions for those than cannot afford the cost. I was looking under extras and did not see it listed there. Dave, is there a blurb on it somewhere on the site that we can refer to?

Yes, please do answer this, Dave. I wanted to add to the fund also.... even emailed you asking how to do so about 2 months ago and never got an answer.

Yes I would like to do this also.

Yes, I read that thread quite a while ago, shortly after I joined, but I wonder if it could be listed under the extras with some info or contact name, etc.?

Darius: I'm sorry about that - I remember getting your email and my memory tells me that I did reply to it. You know what they say - the mind is the first to go. :)

The Garden Angel program is an unofficial program (managed by me) whereby folks can subscribe other people. Oftentimes people want to contribute moneys to the fund and have me use it when it the time is appropriate.

Thanks to Ursula, over $300 more has been raised in the past couple months. As of this moment, there is $349 in the fund, enough to subscribe almost 24 people. So, it's not hurting for cash at all.

In fact, a good way to help is to suggest members who may need an "angel" to pay for their subscription!
