need a better brain then mine

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

:-))))) We recently got a new police scanner. I have been tearing my hair out trying to find the dispatch signals/10-codes for Bay County Florida. Guess I'm just not asking the right things when I do a search...grrrrrr. Can anyone post me a link that will take me directly to where I want to go? I'm starting to get cross-eyed. LOL and beginning to feel that this computer and I will never be friends. TIA

Thanks,Kimberly....yes,but no. I think it's one of the sites I already went to. I printed from several different places and some of the codes/signals are not the same...you'd think they should be universal. Where I'm having "my" problem is that I can't find them specific to Bay County. I really didn't think it would be this hard. :-(((

Are you looking for the frequencies the various departments broadcast over, or the abbreviations/codes they use? Howie asked this.

If you go to the link from gardenwife and then click on "Scanner Links", I think this will help.
then click on Florida scanner Links www.cityfreq.com/fl

I'm not looking for frequencies..although I did print them out. Thanks GagalinFl.

Kimberly..yes I'm looking for the 10-codes(ie:10-4=acknowledgement) and the dispatch signals(signal 4=motor vehicle crash). Comparing what I've found some are not the same which is why I'm looking specifically for Bay County. grrr me thinks we will just wing it and pretend we know what's going on. The info has got to be there..I just haven't been able to pin it down. Oh well..I can turn the 'puter on and off and even post a picture. LOL

Fort Pierce, FL(Zone 10a)

Is there a code where they use QSL, or is it a part of the ten code?

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

The link Gagalin and I gave should be what's generally used - if you hear others, it is possible the departments have developed their own for some things.
