I "joined" over a year ago, and I didn't at the time realize that there was anything more than the PDB! The relationship was not clear then; don't know if any different now: I see some members posting inquiries ab. a plant in the PDB, it would seem they do not know there are forums where their question much more likely to be answered.

Maybe above where you type your note, after "This note may include..." another sentence: "Questions are better asked in the forums (subscription to Dave's Garden necessary, new members get X days free access)."
