Off to France on Monday

...so the puter has to be dismantled and packed tomorrow (sunday)
I'll be back to DG asap :) but have to organise a phone line and we may not be into the house til thursday, so it might be some time before I can post again - though my daughter has a laptop so I may speak to her very nicely *g*

Meanwhile, will be thinking of you all while on my adventure.

The farmers' option runs out on monday - so we just have to go ahead, hoping that it won't be taken up. We'd be very unlucky at this late stage.

I'm just printing of maps of our route. my daughter and her family will be in one car and my mother and I in another. The family cat will be travelling with the family so they're going to head down in one day, but my mum and I plan to stop overnight.

We still don't know when we're signing the papers. It'll be earliest tuesday at 2pm, latest thursday 10am

Yes, life is superb!! Though lots of work to do.
The wildlife is something else!
The first bird to visit my feeders is a nuthatch! All the sparrows, finches and tits sit around not recognising them as food.
Red kites overhead each day - and buzzards.
Lizards everywhere, beautiful butterflies, orchids in the meadow....
I'm in heaven!
