Another search members question

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7a)

I was wondering if it would be possible to tweak the options on searching a little.

Yesterday, I was sending "Welcome" messages to our newest members. As I was perusing the lists, I noticed that there is only one way to alter the search mechanism within the list. I can click on Subscriber, Date of Signup, Username, etc, and the list is sorted based on that criteria.

What I would like to be able to do is to click on a zone, then click on Subscriber, then click on Date of Signup so that I don't have to scroll through the whole list of subscribers looking for the most recent dates.

If I could keep up with the list on the bottom right of the page, I could welcome all new subscribers as they come on board, but I know I'll get behind and I don't want to leave anyone out.

Thanks,
Carla

Making a sort-sort-sort list (sorting several times, remembering and applying previous sorting) is difficult programming and takes quite a bit of time.

I'm not lazy, but I don't know when this would get done and as a result, it wouldn't be very useful to you until then.

What would you think about this alternative solution:

At the end of the "Welcome to our new subscribers" box, what if there was a link that said: "See more new subscribers" that would take you to a page showing you, say, the last 100 subscribers to join? Would that be a good solution?

That would be great, provided the colors change like they do now when I click on them to send them a message - and they stay the changed color.

For instance, right now, once I click on the username (and send them a message), they change from blue to green. I'm just hoping there isn't a "time limit" and after awhile, they all change to blue again, therefore confusing me.

Am I making any sense?

You are so awesome, Dave, to be able to understand and help us all work through situations like this.

Carla, they will change back if your cache/history clears periodically. (I think I've got my terminology right...)
