The Lyrid Meteor Shower

Mount Hermon, LA(Zone 8b)

For any interested in astronomy, the Lyrid meteor shower will peak around midnight Wednesday and continue on until the early hours of Thursday.

Look to the northeast above the constellation Cygnus (the Norther Cross).

There should be about 10 to 20 meteors per hour.
