Can't edit Options in PDB that I previously entered

Was adding some plants and noticed that this is no longer there. Is this a temporary glitch?

The problem is that we are caching all those pages... But I have found a solution. When you are on a plant that you want to alter, go to the top and click on "Switch to live view" and you'll then have the options available to you that you need.

What is "Switch to live view" supposed to do anyway?

Ulrich, you should see it at the top of each plant entry, assuming you're logged in. "Live view" is just that - it's the real-time view of the entry, as opposed to a two-minute-old (I think that's right) version of the entry (the caching that Dave referred to above.)

Terry, I DID click on "Switch to live view" and it went there, but still it does not enable editing of the Options.

This *should* work for entries you've created, but it won't let you edit options you didn't set in the first place.

I'm not sure I see the connection between this question and the thread in the link....am I missing something?

Look at the top of the page - you should see a blue hyperlink to "Switch to live view".

Ulrich, the screenshot you provided is where you can edit the name fields for an entry you created.

What I showed you is the entry itself, and at the top is a link to "Switch to live view." I logged in as you and could see it, so the only possible explanation is that your browser is different from mine, and it's somehow preventing you from seeing it (which should not happen.)

The change between "cached" and "live" is subtle - you have to look for the sections that you edited, and you'll see a blue hyperlink to change them. And when you're in "live" view, you don't see the link at the top.

As to the other topic, I'll address my questions and concerns directly to it, okay? (And probably not until morning - it's 11 my time, and 5:30 comes mighty early when I stay up too late playing on DG ;o)
