I was posting a new thread in the Daylily forum and was previewing my post before submitting. What to my wondering eyes should appear, but this obscure reference to the Daylily Divas.........
hemhead
Is this what Dave calls us? LOL!!
Is this secret Dave lingo?
huh?
haha thats funny! i think you found him out !
He is quite the jokester, lol! gotta keep us on our toes!
Melissa Ohio doesn't have that! What's up with that????? And what about Poppy Sue?
I'm confused!
You must be the guru! So let me ask you - If I planted my daylilies in the middle of this oval garden (only spot for them amongst other plants) about 8 inches apart, many of them, was that too close????
Hey langbr, errrr hemhead!
I actually checked the code and it is there....too funny.
I checked the code on a couple of other forums and found no such "secret" Dave speak. I think it's a special honor for all you hemheads.
(I have to admit that I only plant daylillies outside the fence, hoping the gophers will eat them and be so filled up that they'll leave the rest of my stuff alone. It doesn't work.)
HEMerocallis HEADing/er ???? Computer abbreviation perhaps??
Hey, you all!! I'm just a lowly beginner hemhead!!! I just calls 'em likes I sees 'em!!!
Karrie--I'm really no expert....I posted the same kind of question in the forum that's when I saw the...the...the thing!
lol! this is funny
Well, some of the abbreviations are probably even worse!
Think about it!
Let's see: palmhead, brughead, dishead, jokehead, toolhead, planhead, seedhead, healhead ......

The vegetable forum also has a fun name if memory serves me. And I gave fun names to the USDA zone map regions, if you can find them. :)
ROTFLOL I had to go and look! Some of those are hysterical. Melissa Gilbert should be proud! LOL
"poppysueworld"? "potatoes" "NorthofTennessee"??? OH MY!!!! Dave, now I've got to pay more attention!!! LOL!
Check out what I called Texas. ;-)
:( i can fiiiiind them. i guess they are for us newbies to discover with time :)
lol - just came in from weeding and mowing :) for a break - they're all 'gooders'. But what makes you think your state has a monopoly? lol ;)
:) You know, Dea, Texan is the native language of Heaven. :-)
(joking)
dave
Always a suprise here at DG - they all made us laugh so much :)
Can't wait to see how you re-name all the rest - this is fun!
ok I give up, where do I find it??
"Left coast" ????
As in, "Elvis has left the building."
As in, "Left of center."
:-)
It used to be "The Land of Fruits & Nuts" referring to the great agricultural industry, but that hasn't been PC for many years even though it still is like a paradise for growing anything. That old term came to mind recently when the discussion about the fruit(s), vegetable, nuts, legumes forum went on.
Come on - can't you find something more humorous than AOL Country for Maryland :)
Just looked at Florida - that is just great - you really have a wonderful sense of humor !
And Louisiana - cracking us up ! :)

art......click on the Zone map link on the right of any screen in the DG Network list (last one). Then click on the map and look at the URL in your URL bar of your browser.
I missed FL have to go check
Hulaland? Mooseland?
You can also just move your cursor over the map and look at the address preview that is listed at the bottom of the screen above the toolbar.
Poor Nevada and Minnesota....
