Dave, would it cause images to be too large if you changed your script so it did not remove the EXIF info from uploaded photos? That information has a potential of being very helpful, especially on the Camera Talk and Photos forum where people are concerned with how a shot was taken. Any way it could be left in tact? Thanks for your consideration.

GW, the EXIF info should be left intact. Are you finding that this is not the case?

A couple I downloaded didn't have it. I wasn't sure if it was because the originator didn't save that info with the file, or if it was because the EXIF data were stripped.

I'll upload one in this post and then download it to see.

Hmmm, no the EXIF was not there. The IPTC info was there, but no EXIF.

I've been downloading some of my recently uploaded pictures from DG and looking for EXIF info in my photos since I know I save it in my JPG files; there's still no EXIF info in them.
