I finally had the pleasue of meeting Margaret and her husband Abe in Richmond today and what a wonderful pair of people they are! I and my children are in Virginia visiting my friend Debi for the week and we spent a lovely afternoon in the Bot.gardens there.
Had a great time,Margaret, and I hope we get to do it again next year :)
Met Margaret today
Cool! Isn't she great??
I have never had the opportunity to meet her, but she is the very first person with whom I had contact with when I joined:)
So glad you had time together!
Mags is just wonderful!
I miss her so much....
I am jealous you got to spend some time with her.
She is lovely!
Me too, Lisa, I would love to visit with Margaret in person. Gwist and Margaret, lucky for you both, I remember seeing your visit, Gwist, with Padre in NYC.
Lenjo, I was very fortunate to spend time with Mags at the RU in Kentucky last summer. The time with her was way too short. She calls me often and I get really choked up when I have to say "bye"..

That kitty-loving Brit of ours has a way of getting under our skin. We've not met Abe, but Mags is tops. :)
Louisa (Mags, Margaret) is the best, she has one of the kindest hearts and I just love her. She is beautiful inside and out. :)
Darius, she is great! Lenjo,I am hoping to meet up with Padre this time when I return to my parents house. He lives so close to them and the Botanical Gardens,so I can combine the two :).
Somehow we missed each other when I was in Virginia this past fall... wish I would have gotten to see her!

I'm so jealous! Closest I get to meeting her is chats on the phone. She is such a sweetheart!
Gwist I am so glad you got to meet her. She is super. I finally got to meet her at the Ky RU last year. She was my cabin mate. We have always talked on the phone etc but was sure great to get that hug in person. She is one of the best. I hope you get to meet some other DG'ers too.
Sure am glad you are having a great time. Keep it up. Vacation will be over before you know it.
My...what can I say but to return your lovely messages and to let you know that I love and appreciate your kindness and your friendship. Goodness does this mean that I didn't let everybody down at the Kentucky roundup????? :-)
Gwist the day was just perfect. Meeting you was such a delight and and I still can't get over how well behaved and patient the children were. Let's hope we can do it all again next year and even visit Monticello. Take care and God go with you on your journeys.
