Time change...

As you know, members here at DG have the ability to select their timezone in their preferences and see the dates on the site in their own timezone.

If you live in a part of the world that recognizes time zone changes for daylight savings time, would you mind to check the time of the site (current time is always under the logo - refresh the page to see the latest time) and let me know if it is incorrect?

I have automatically updated all American timezones from CST to CDT and so forth. If I missed your timezone, please let me know!

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

=)

Irving (Dallas area), TX(Zone 8a)

Looks good to me.

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

Eastern daylight is good also

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

Dave - thanks for the mass update. I know that was something that threw me off 6 months ago - and when I checked earlier, it had already been reset.

Crossville, TN

Dave....Arizona does not change time...so the MDT is incorrect for us....most sites have Arizona Time listed as a choice when listing time zones. Jo

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Hmm...so AZ ain't got no Daylite savings?

Why just yesterday my wife suggested I need to live where DStime don't exist. (I had just gotten thru expounding on "why DST messes with me.")

Lakeland, MN(Zone 4a)

My central time zone is a hour off. My DG clock says 9:18, my computer clock says 8:18.

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

All's well in sunny California.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

My time is wrong....Saskatchewan doesn't change time.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Fine here in the middle of the US.

TUCSON, AZ(Zone 9a)

my time is wrong. it says 8:21 and its only 7:21 in Tucson. thanks Dave

Okay, so the Arizona people are not doing daylight savings. I'll fix that for you. Thanks for the report!

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

Time is right on my end, Thanks Dave, I thought I was going to have to go in and change it myself. It takes me a week just to change the clocks in my house(6 and counting) so I can imagine how long it woulda taken me to change it here. LOL

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Hi Dave please don't forget to fix my time.....Thank you! :)

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

I'm not sure if this is correct or not, but I thought there was a split somewhere there in Arizona and New Mexico where part of them recognized the time change, and part of them don't - like if you go over county lines or something, it changes????????

Lakeland, MN(Zone 4a)

My clock on the wall and on my computer says 9:06 and my dave's garden clock says 10:06.

Anyone still experiencing time problems, please go to your timezone preferences (click Preferences in the menu) and change it to your correct timezone. Please let me know if you have any trouble with that!

dave

Lakeland, MN(Zone 4a)

I changed in preferences to central time and there still is the differences

epazota,

Make sure you select the correct time zone. There is a CDT and a CST, pick the right one (and, if one is wrong, the other would be correct).

Crossville, TN

Dave, my time is correct, but it says (CST)....?? JO

That's because you -are- in CST, right?

Crossville, TN

Dave...I am in ARIZONA time...which is MST when we are not in DST.....right now we are the same time as CALIFORNIA>>>PDT. After October we will be back in MST...I think that is right...anyhow right now it is about 6 PM...Jo

Lakeland, MN(Zone 4a)

It worked to change my time to central daylight time! Sorry to be such a pain.
Thanks Dave!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Jo, you should be able to select MST as your timezone. (And it just stays MST all year 'round, yes?)

Crossville, TN

Terry....that would work I guess...but heck...I'm retired so I don't care what time it is....LOL
