digital cameras

Wynantskill, NY(Zone 5a)

I don't have a digital camera yet (I am the only person in the USA without one!), and I know some of you might have a recommendation for a brand you use to post your pictures on DG. Being an old retired teacher, I need to find one that does not cost an arm and a leg. I'd appreciate any advice you could give me. Thanks!

Thanks Bad and Garden- I went to the camera forum and got enough reading for a loooong time!! I believe after I've read all the info, I'll be able to make a good choice. Thanks again.

TechTV just reviewed some cameras under $200. I don't know what your budget is or what you want to do with a camera, but here's the article: http://www.techtv.com/callforhelp/products/story/0,24330,3647496,00.html

LOL LGW! Yeah, I kind of thought you might be busy there for um.....awhile. Lots of great info! (If you are one of the men folk, ignore my earlier comment, it's just pregnancy). :)

I bought a Hewlett Packard hp215 a couple of years ago. All my pics on here are taken with it. Very easy to use, very easy to put the pics on the computer, & the best part, onlt $139.95.
