what are you going to do with all those brugs?
Addicted
Karrie, I'll be planting most of them, trading some and giving some to friends and neighbors.
Kell, I'm like all the other Brug nuts. LOL
Wow, Ada, your yard is going to stop traffic. You may have to charge admission, and that way you can pay for all the fertilizer, etc. LOL
I can't wait to see all your babies. This year sure is going to be such fun with everyone going nuts with seeds!!
Sylvia, do you think I'll be able to charge that much. LOL
Kell, it sure is going to be an exciting year. Most of my plants are just cutting of the oldies like Frosty, Dr. Suess and Golfito. All you big hybridinizers will be the ones to watch.
Another suggestion would be,get rid of all your grass, more room for Brugs, and you will not have to store the mower, tell him you are saving him all that work of mowing!!
Now, that sounds like a good idea. Wonder where I could find a guy that would fit behind a tiller???? LOL!!
WOW Ada! Nice looking seedlings and plants! Your garden will be a Brug paradise this year.
LOL Ada, are you calling me a big hybridizer? I wish!! I have no clue what I am doing!! I just buzz around doing it! LOL
That's what I do when and if I get flowers. I hope this year the weather will cooperate more with me and I'll have blooms and lots of them before fall.
Me too, Brugie. Mine started blooming pretty when it was time for frost. We had so much rain nothing did good last year.
Kell that's what great hybridinizers do, buzz around. LOL
Monika, I sure hope so. Someday I hope to have a brug alley one fourth as beautiful as yours. LOL
Root, that's a good idea but I have so much bermuda grass, it's almost impossible to get rid of it.
LOL Ada!! BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!! will be buzzing in a few minutes!! I was not going to bother to pollinate anymore, I have too many seeds as it is. But then I thought alot of people would enjoy them and they are easier to send than cuttings and safer also.
ahelms, what a great bunch of brugs. good thing you are in zone 7b. I can't safely plant anything outside until after first of May. Do you add a lot of things like compost, steer manure, Planters 11 etc. to your soil before or as you are planting. Donna
Rutholive, our last predicted frost date is April 15 here. I have a compost pile I use to enrich my soil. The soil here is very poor. The topsoil was sold from this land many years ago and nothing but cotton, wheat and oats were ever planted on theis land for as long as I can remember. It needs a lot of compost to ever be worthwhile again. But it sure grows good Bermuda grass. LOL
Ada,
I had no idea you were THAT addicted. Is this what I am destined for? :-)
LOL You never know Tree Climber, you may catch the disease just as bad.
Oh WOW,you are WAY more addicted than me.....
Come on CC you need to catch up. LOL
OH my.. You got so full of brugs.. Dh have been telling me that he's going to build me green house last year.. He never did.
Bug him day in and day out. He will get tired of it an build you your greenhouse. LOL!! Hope you get one. They sure do help and in your climate it would be wonderful to have during the winter months.
Ada, you are hopelessly and helplessly addicted. WTG .. they all are looking great.
Thanks. LOL They are about to work me to death right now potting them up. LOL
Ada,you have your hands full but I see a tiny smidge of room...want more seeds?
Oh Ada, I just saw this post and showed it to hubby, he says I can't have his garage.. and that's final.. lol.
Love all your plants. A
Yes, CC. I can always make room for more. Send them on.
Now Gourd, you don't ask, you just move them in and surprise him. LOL
