Addicted

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I'd say I'm addicted also. This is one stall in DH's garage.

Wow, I would say so. But it's really not a bad addiction.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

This trailer is parked in front of the previous brugs. I had taken them out of the greenhouse to give them dappled sun and can back them back into the garage at night for warmth but it has turned colder here.

These are more babies in the little greenhouse.

Ada: Thanks so much for the pictures! I think you qualify as addicted LOL! You have a LOT of beautiful brugs!!! Gretchen

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Oh dear Ada. You have a problem. Your addiction needs help. LOL!! They look great. I hope you don't break your back getting them all planted outside this spring. Looks like you are going to have a lot of work ahead of you.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

And more about too big for my shelves.

Brugie, I can't wait to get started planting them. That still isn't all of them. LOL

Whitewater, WI

LOL, Ada What I love most about this is you STILL call it your DHs garage. lololol

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

These look very yellow but they aren't. It's the high sodium light I have them under.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I have a high sodium light in the big greenhouse and a Metal Halide light on the little seedlings in the garage. They are doing so much better in the garage than they did here in the house with the dry humidity and DH's warm temperatures. LOL

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Ada: I know what you mean. I am literally chomping at the bit to get mine planted. I was so hopeful that my seedlings could go straight from the 4" pots to the garden, but tonight I had to re-pot 8 in one-gallon containers as the roots were so prolific they had begun growing not only out of the drain holes, but out of the top of the soil too! I think by the 2nd week of April it'll be safe to plant here.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Can you imagine bringing them all in this fall? Oh my, you are courageous. Your yard will be gorgeous. Can't wait to see blooming pictures.

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

wow. a garden worth having. have fun planting them.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Yes, Brugie, that will be the fun time. LOL Gretchen, i had to pot up a bunch of mine. I hope in a few weeks they can go outside to stay until Fall.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Steel Datura, DH is looking for the day to come soon that all his tools will be sitting outside the garage. LOL

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Ada did you know they have programs for this kind of addiction? I think I may have just met some one worse than myself! Where oh where are you going to put all those?

Steele I was just wondering that myself, and I bet her husband is seriously rethinking a bigger greenhouse!

(Ada those twelve step programs don't really work, been there twice....Tracey)

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

LOL Tracey, I have plenty of room in my yard, son's yard and my neighbor's yard. My neighbors like for me to plant them in their yards. LOL I won't even waste my time with the twelve steps, tracey. I have better things to do like grow more Brugs.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Whew!!! Tell DH about they storage buildings he can rent, for his tools!!!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

You have a good point there, Root. LOL I bet he'll get busy soon building my new greenhouse that we're supposed to build this year.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Oh my Ada, I had no idea your addiction was so bad. Your collection is huge!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Susie many of them are just cuttings of the oldies and the seedlings are mostly your seeds. LOL I need some of the newer Brugs that I'm slowly trying to get from here and there.

Cape May Court House, NJ(Zone 7a)

HOLY MOLEY.... THAT SURE IS ALOT OF BRUG'S!!!!!

sue

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Holy Cow Ada! I had no idea that you were such a lost cause! That is so serious that it's funny.
I'm glad to see someone else uses roasting pans. I bought so many one year the cashier at the grocery store asked if I was cooking for the food bank. LOL

Whitewater, WI

LOL, Ada
For your DH next Birthday, get him one of those plastic outdoor sheds with a sign that says..."DH Tools"....
He'll get the hint....lol

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

The roasting pans are great. I used to buy those domed trays that the seed companies sell...then I discovered the covered roasting pans and domed cake pans. I'm sure the check-out people at Wal-Mart wonder about me as well LOL.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Liz, last year I bought all I could find in the Dollar Stores that had the plastic lids. They asked what in the world are you going to cook in all those pans. LOL

Steel Datura, I won't buy him anything to store the tools in. LOL He'd be happy with them there. Believe me, It would be better to put them outside to light the fire under him to get busy on the bigger greenhouse. LOL

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

LOL, Liz too funny.

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Good Grief Ada!
Have you ever attempted counting them, lol?

Ya know I saw your picture, and you didn't look like an Amazon to me, so where are you hiding those muscles?
Do you have some kinda trick for digging all those holes?
I'm so worried about getting my 40 in the ground, along with my "other" plants...

edited for my goof grief!

Vi, the way they are stacked, there's no way i can count them. I may not look like an Amazon but my DH calls me wonder woman. LOL He tells everyone, I'm the hardest working person he ever seen or maybe the craziest. LOL I wish it would rub off on him.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)
