Chemistry is over!!!!!!! Yippee!!!!!!!

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

A big happy dance here. My 6 month-slog to learn Chemistry to tutor my brother is FINISHED!!!!!!! (He will get his grades at the end of this week. Praying he passed, so won't need to re-take them.)

Next week he starts Algebra and Biology, both of which I can do standing on my head, so I won't need to spend 6 hours a day learning, and another 3-4 hours a day teaching him. Yay!

Now all I have to do is clean up my yard (fall cleanup), spring-clean the house, start all my seeds, catch up on my bookkeeping for my Herb Garden Volunteer group, and prepare for the onslaught of the main digging/dividing/transplanting of my perennials. Piece of cake! Oh, and attempt to catch up on at least 4 months of e-mails. Please, please, continue to be patient with me.

I have missed all of you so much, especially my Tuesday night chat buddies. Watch out, I am (I hope!) going to be in this Tuesday and I can't wait! The past 3 months, Tuesday evenings have been devoted to a 3-hour Chemistry tutorial session :(

Kathy,

We have missed you so much. I've seen you poke your little head in here occasionally and was hoping you would be back real soon.

Talk to you real soon,
Donna

Hi Kathy! It's wonderful to see you back! Your job list makes me tired LOL....

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Wonderful to see you back Kathy!! Don't you go sneaking off again. :)

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Glad to see you back and doing a Happy Dance for you!

Take your list slowly and don't overdo your self because I sure don't want to hear that you are sick from working too hard.

Yippeeeeeeee LUPY IS BACK!!!

Love ya, Lani

So when will you find out what grade you er...He got? Wish I had had a tutor like you way back when!

The test is over and the studying is done
Now my Lupy friend can have some fun.
So lift your glasses and join in a toast
to the best Sister of whom a brother can boast!

Western, WI(Zone 4a)

Congrats on tutoring your brother. Nice to know that families still pull together!!
I too still have to get flower beds done from last fall and finish adding wood chips to flower beds, and dividing and getting the greenhouse going.
Temps are actually going to be in the 50's by the end of the week. Can't believe it.
We saw the first Robins Sat. so possibly SPRING is here. I wonder.

((((( Mystic )))))))

Zany, our local paper had a limerick contest for St. Patrick's Day. You know how I was thinking of you! Little things (little???) like that kept coming up and making me so lonely for all my e-friends. OK, enough being maudlin.

Anyone want to see me standing on my head doing Algebra? How about being upside down doing Biology? That is actually how I harvest my purple and yellow beans. No foolin'

Steve finds out his grade the end of this week. If he has to re-take Intro to Chem, either he will do it on his own, or wait until next winter for me to have time to help him again.

Donna, are you going to be in Chat tomorrow? Hope, hope. Badseed, you bad girl, are you going to be there? Or are you going to be in the hospital having that baby?? Either way, (((( 'Chele )))))

Vic, Maxine, Twinlake, I have missed you all so much. Gradually whittling away at my list of things to do. Yeah, right! Maybe tomorrow I will find time to sort through my seeds. I lost my Round Tuit, so I gotta get me another one.

Kathy, it's so good to see you back again. I can imagine the bean-picking scenario. Sunday afternoon I tried squatting down to take a macro shot, but felt myself losing balance and had to finally just give in to gravity. Howie and Angie got a kick out of my "whoooooa whoooooooa" as I teetered and fell. The second shot I took, I was standing and bent at the waist, believe me! :D

By the way, look at how happy those plants you gave me are, still in their wineglass of water. They even have some newer companions I broke off a leggy potted arrangement. I think of you and your kind heart every time I look at them:

Awww, that is so great. The flowers, not you falling! Hope you only damaged your dignity. I can't wait to see you Easter weekend. Give your Mom and Bob a big hug from me. Will they be coming?

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I hope so - Maybe we all need to gang up on her and dad. ;)

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

He got a B!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those who have met my brother, he smiles maybe once every 3 years. When he called with the news last night, he was smiling.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

WOW, that's outstanding! You must be so proud of him!

south central, WI(Zone 5a)

Way to go!! So glad that your/his work paid off. You have quite a catch up list-I would leave the housework until last-least interesting and also-it just gets dirty again-now the garden-much better story!!

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Fantastic achievement for you two!!!!!! I bet his smile would have lit up the Eastern Seaboard!!!!

I agree with Marcia, leave the housework till last because if you hurt yourself doing your housework you couldn't get out to play in your garden as easily.

Hugs, Lani

Brilliant lupi
Missed you loads - then missed your return!!!!
Well done to you both! All that effort was well rewarded. What dedication!

Hope to be there for tuesday chat, but it's so late here I may not make it. If not, I'll be thinking of you in my dreams lol, chatting away and making up for lost time :)
