On Michael Holigan's TV show this morning they showed how to make a little stool for gardening. It sure would save the knees ! I think I'll see if DS will make one for me.

I remember when I was a kid and we used one legged stools to milk the cows. Guess this is dating me a bit, but we did eventually get the electric milking machine and it sure was nice. LOL!

Always used a one-legged stool for milking. Never did have a machine. I milked one cow most of the time to provide milk and cream for the family.
