I what to see more pics of Cherokee!!! Gloria--yooo whooo when you get some new pics please post so I can drool!
NAME THAT BRUG!!!
hermitess, it doesnt look like a sanguinea to me either.
Rats!! :(( Well, we'll see what they turn out to be then.
Can anyone recommend a good reliable honest reputable source for sanguinea seeds? (unlike where I got these ones, apparently)
There's a woman on eBay, she's in CA, sells sang seeds all the time. I bought some from her and they all came up, but my summers were way to hot for sangs to thrive. I'll see if I can find what her name is.
Thanks!
Newbie Here ...............
All I can say is OH MY >>> OH MY>>> OH MY>>>>
I don't have any Brugs yet, but I feel a real addiction coming on !
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL .............. I guess I thought of more to say, in fact I could go on and on.........
I would love to see a double peach in bloom, any of the doubles, the only double I have is a double white that doesn't quite like it here, have to find it a good shady spot. It is really hard to pick just one because I want to see all the seedlings bloom and just to think something might be different is a wonderful thought and anticipation (my first year with seeds).. so, I guess anything that blooms is great for me right now..lol..
Edited: P.S. I ordered some Sang seeds (and Passion vine seeds) from Patrick Studio Inc. - Perennials & Flower Seeds,in Quebec, Canada and they just started to germinate this week, also it took them about a month to get to me. They have only just sprouted (7 out of the 10 so far).

Spent an hour or so looking at all the pictures, I do like Rosamond very much and found another one called "Mountain Magic" that seems just as lovely. Looked on ebay just for kicks, and Mountain Magic is being auctioned off, currently bidding is $50.00!! Guess I'll keep looking ... :)
Eileen
we have to choose???? equador pink is coming to mind,---I love the length of the blooms, reminds me of evening gloves. whats the forced feeding method? someone help me out please? cheryl
Has to be Butterfly but sure wish it had a heavy scent. Just got Creamsickle in the fall so it will be awhile before I see blooms from it. I also like Rosamond and Adora alot
I thought I read where BF had a great scent, Donna? I have it but never noticed. Shame on me!! You will love your creamsickle SO MUCH!!!!
eileenI would hold off on Ebay,Brugs will be coming more available soon, too much money for something that can be shared here.
I love Butterfly's scent. Kind of like a strong baby powder.
Kell...the cowboy restaurant with big steaks sounds like Jacko's in Nipomo...it is about 15 min. south of Pismo Beach. We spend about 4-6 weeks a year in Pismo and have been there ! Tends to be very crowded on week-ends.
I am new into brugs! and will check out your site for more photos..the creamsickle looks really beautiful.
Nice to see so many here from CA. I am in S.J.....Almaden area!
Hermitess....I love Cambria!
Welcome Picturelady. Glad to have you here. Kell grows some awesome brugs. Besides, she keeps us laughing on here a lot too.
Welcome picturelady! You and kell are priviliged people, living in a climate without winter!
Thanks for the warm welcome...brugie and monika ! I like to visit places where I can share a laugh as well as learn something! So, it seems like I have come to the right place!
Welcome again, picturelady. You've come to the right place for making wonderful new friends and becoming more and more addicted to Brugs.
You will love it here picturelady! Kell has a great sense of humor and besides it, she has a lot of Brugs LOL!

Welcome PL,Creamsickle is in my top 10 for sure,Brugieyours really did impress me.
Gosh Doc, I thought mine was ugly. I needed color from her and never got any, to speak of.
The flowers of my Creamsickle were beautiful, even though, they didnt have any color. The flower are huge.
I think I had a defective Creamsickle. LOL!! Her blooms were huge, they did smell good, but they didn't hold up well and little to no color. I hope it was just because it was late fall. I'll try one more time and then if I'm not satisfied, she is out the door.
You are so tough Brugie! lol. For me, she is one of my best bloomers.
I was just thinking that she must like cooler weather. She bloomed heavily for me late last year and actually had a bloom or 2 most of the winter. It was her and Charlie all winter with some from Rosamond. And right now, she has about 6 blooming. Definitely one of my earlier bloomers.
Monika, the blooms are so big and so full! Here is a pic I took the other day before this one had dropped her skirt. She is a full 13 inches long from the top of the calyx. The peduncle is another full 3 inches.
Wow, Kell, I wish mine would hurry and bloom.
Mine froze...... :-(
I have to go find a picture of Temple Goddess that is a new name to me.
Kyle...I have one extra CS cutting I rooted last fall. I'll bring it to the RU...if you want it? PLMK (via email).....so I make sure there will be room for it in the truck. Every time I drive to Brugie's place I end up traveling BOTH ways with a truck filled w/ tons of stuff. (ALL NECESSARY...of coarse) LOL
