I am so sorry to hear about your job. I want to say all kinds of uplifting stuff (it's all true!), but sometimes you just need to know other people are listening, we care, and we're on your side. We all are, and I'm praying for you.

Sorry to hear the news, wish I had some ideas for you. Would the library or Small Business Adm. or the Retired Senior Vounteer Program be available and of any help?

I am sorry to hear about your layoff. Even if you saw it coming, it still has to be a shock to your system. I wish you the best of luck on starting your own business. It sounds like you have a skill that will take you far if you establish a reputation for good and reasonable service.

Layoff's stink, Frank. Sorry to hear you're one of the recipients of one. We've been there!

awww Frank, if you were here I would have you fix our Volvo. We had it to a mechanic (good one) here and he worked on it for a while and thought it was good to go but when we came to get it it acted up again. He worked on it some more and it still was acting up. He asked other mechanics what to do and did their suggestions and by the time we got it home it was doing the same old tricks again. He refunded all our money and told us we need to find a mechanic who works on Volvos which means we have to tow it 65 miles to the nearest mechanic of Volvos. Bottom line is we need the car now and the truck that will do the towing is still in the shop having transmission work done.

Good luck in your new business. I sure hope you can realize your dreams and get it done soon so you can have your income back.
