Buy the potting soils....

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

I am just curious.. have you went to any places and bought the bags of potting soils during raining? LOL..

Poor my DD.. she have been begging me to buy the potting soil for her to plant some flowers in the pots. She can't wait. We bought some pretty flowers and didn't buy the soil. She want to fix up pretty around here new house with flowers in the pots etc.. She's 11 years old.

Mini, send her here!! I have gone through about 7 bags in the lst week or so. I still have 3 to go. Been transplanting Brugs and epidendrums and seedlings. My 11 yr old DD is getting tired of the stuff I think. Lol. She prefers mud (and steer manure of all things. The girl should have been a farmer!).

PS we only had two days of rain though. Am praying for more.

I've bought it wet before. Its really not a problem other than being a little heavier.
I've found too that you don't have to water in the seeds/plants as much when you buy it wet too.

Just my opinion though.
Good luck :)
Tell your DD Spring is almost here!!

Yes.. Being living in the southern.. Having a garden around the year and never end! I moved all my brugs and others outside from the garage. Now all my brugs are having some new shoot leaves.. I have so bunch of brug cuttings. I don't know what to do with them but I guess I will post them under brugs to see if any newbies want them!

Well, I guess I will go and buy potting soils so DD can enjoy plant them for me. :o) Last nite, She went to old trailer and found a box full of seeds. She brought it over here and went throught and found some that she want to plants. I tell her just plant them all in one big hole! LOL..
