Hi Dave,
I was reading the piece on cloning in the Propagation Forum and then clicked on the 2nd link. After I read it, I wanted to go back and read the other link and couldn't. The only place to go was 'close'. I then re-opened Juno, then DG again, went back to the same forum and thread and read the 1st link and had to hit 'close' again and reopen everything. Is this a glitch on my PC or in the links? No big deal, just thought if it was something that needed fixing you'd like to know. :)
Is is a glitch?
When a link opens up a new window, you can't use the browser "back" button to go back to the previous page (it's still open, just beneath the new window accessed via the link. There's no "back" because it is a new window. (Hopefully that makes sense.) If you go bck to the original page and click the second hyperlink it will use the other open window, replacing the first link you clicked on. You can right-click on the second link and choose to "open in a new window" in order to have three windows all open at once.
The trick I've found is to only partially open a browser window - click on the "shadowbox" icon (in the top right hand corner in between the _ and X you'll find overlapping rectangles that are like an oldfashioned shadowbox) and make a window smaller, then you can "stretch it" to whatever size you want by running your mouse over each edge until you see an arrow then clicking to pull it wider, narrower, taller, shorter, etc. You can "grab" the entire window by clicking on the blue bar at the top and drag it to wherever you want it.
I keep multiple browser windows open all the time (not a good habit, BTW) but it works for me. Most of them are not fully opened, so I can navigate among several of them at the same time.
