I am in the process of finishing up a deal with Home Depot to donate a bunch of bulbs to our church. It's taken a lot of trips there and a few phone calls, but I think everything is in place now. Three racks of last year's bulbs, rhizomes and corms...most of which are still firm and in great condition.
FREE!
There are well over 1500 daffodil bulbs, bags and bags of irises, anemones, ranunculus, tulips and more. Did I mention they're FREE? :)
Windfall!
What a haul that is for you! I am proud as punch about this and hoping you will post some pictures when they are blooming. You can call it God's Garden.
Happy Planting,
Lani
Great job, Carla!! I'm sure your fellow members will be appreciative of your efforts. Do post pics as Lani said.
I'm not sure what all will bloom this year as they've been neglected somewhat ... but even if it isn't until next year, that's fine with me. They're free. :)
My neighbor tried to get donations for her church and they had all sorts of excuses. You must have a better manager. They had some silly excuse after another and didn't donate a single thing.
I thought you meant light bulbs! DUH!
This is a gardening web site, right? (looking both ways) :)
Windy, Where is Toney, AL? I used to live in Montgomery.
Windy lobs a glob of mud at Smilin. WATCH OUT Smilin!
SPLAT drip, drip , the mud slides right down Smilin's face. Windy is a good shot
