I am hoping to come home in May for a couple of weeks. I sure miss it......everything about it....my garden, the food, the shopping and most of all I miss Americans!!!!!!!!!!!
no matter what its just not the same.....you know what i mean.....
any chance that there is a round up or something going on in MAY?
I miss everyone on Dave's , I miss being able to hang out here every day - all day long....
Coming back to the states

There is a RU in Georgia (near Macon) May 1st and one in Knoxville May 22. We'd LOVE to see you.

Hi, Pebble! I just saw your post tonight. Will you be back visiting on the west coast, or where?
Planning on going to portland/vancouver, wa. But may stop over in other parts too. may 1st in Georgia might be do-able. let me look at the flight situations.
cheers/pebb
Pebble, where are you? If I may ask. Are you with the military?
My daughter will be moving around next year with the Air Force after she is married. She loves to travel but I think she will miss home some time.
Oh yeah! That would be so cool Pebble. We'd love to have you in GA. :) That would be 2 GA RU in a row with someone flying in from Europe! lol
Bluegrass, I am in Turkey. No not with the military, my DH is turkish and we moved back here so he could open a pharmacy in this resort town.
Eco, after thinking about it, dont think I could swing it really cause now I've changed plans about the time, thinking more of april so I can be home for my son's birthday.
Ah well, maybe next year. :)
pebble, there is a N. FL swap April 3rd!!!!!!!
You go tiG! lol
((trying hard)) lol
Hey Pebs!! We're having a Party in the Piney Woods in May.
"eyes"
Turkey is in Asia, isn't it ;]
:P smarty-pants!
Hi Pebbles what's it like living there? Do you have a change of season's? Have you got awesome gardens?
FP
I have been in Turkey once. But I was kinda young, eight I think. I remember pretty much things from there but some day I would like to go there again. I think now I could get more out of it, you know. Understand that culture and everything.
Hey guys, it's great to hear from you all.
Turkey is both in Europe and in Asia, the largest part is in Asia, but still there is a part in europe, Istanbul is in both asia and Europe. It is the country that bridges the both continents.
There are seasons, not as defined where I am, but we definately have a winter and a summer, there didnt seem to be much of a fall, but there was a slight drop in temps, then this winter has been the coldest here in 70 years, we even had snow. the funny thing is, and I dont know how funny this is really, but most houses here dont have a heating system, we only have our air conditioners that also heat, but let me tell you it lacked something this winter, we froze......and there is a terrible dampness problem, when i go to bed at night, the sheets and blankets on the bed are damp/ and all the clothes in the closets are damp, we have to open the closet doors and the windows and air them all out = or rather dry them out.
egads..... now I am all conufsed about my trip, I almost went this week because delta had a special for istanbul to portland oregon for 500 dollars...cant beat that. but then aa business deal came up, and i might be going to philadelphia, so there goes my cheap fare...
I have no idea when i am going, but will definately check in here to see what's what....
I just got my tıcket - Im comıng home march 22 - I only have 4 days to get ready - shoppıng and packıng - a bıt sudden dont you thınk:
a bit. lol :)
Get all packed and then relax a little. Have a great flight and visit! :)
Mrs. Pebble....but you're still going to Vancouver area, wrong side of the continent, eh? All the Roundups are over here, so I reckon your visit will just have to be for about 6 months so you can hit them all.
Sounds perfectly feasible to me.
I'm with Shoe, stay for a long long time. You could just keep visiting DGer's and stay as long as you want. Work your way from that coast to this one! Be sure to make my house one of your stops!
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU IN MAY AT THE GA ONE.
I wısh I could make the roundup - but as you say - wrong sıde of the country
but I,ll be able to get onlıne more often when Im ın vancouverçççç
so ıll feel more lıke at home whıle at daveis
