You two are wonderful apart and really wonderful together! I hope you have a great day and many more years of happiness!
Happy Anniversary Howie and Kimberley!!
I agree what stacy said!!
Happy Anniversary you two!
Love yall!
Yep...they made it another FOUR years! Congrats!
Hope it's a great day for ya'll. (I wonder what their presents to each other might be...think they might be computer toys?)
I think they should jump in the fancy van and go sight-seeing or pic-a-nicking. Do a little smooching maybe? Stop off and have some prime rib or something?
Happy Day folks!
Have a great day, my friends. Congratulations to two wonderful folks.
Happy Anniversary! Hope you two have a wonderful day!!
Oh yes, I'm not going to miss wishing the two of you a Happy Anniversary. You two are just like 2 peas in a pod and are made for each other. I hope you have a fun day together and whatever you do, you have to do it 4 times as good, as it
has to last for 4 more years. hehe
Hugs to both,
Donna
Do somethng nice for each other today. Happy Anniversary
Happy Anniversary Kimberley & Howie. Hope you have a GREAT day.
Thanks everyone. That is so nice. It sure is good to have so many friends here on DG.
We are going into Columbus for dinner and to the our favorite bookstore. Then we will go for coffee at Cup of Joes next to the book loft. Yes shoe there will be tecnology involed in this day. Cup of Joes has internet access. So I will take my laptop and she will have her PDA. Would not want to be to far away from DG.
As far as gifts we don't usally do gifts. All though I cleaned out beside the house yesterday and laid steping stones so we could get through. So I guess that can be her gift. She has been wanting to do that every since they tore it up to do our basement waterproofing. It was getting to me also. I would about break my neck everytime I would try to go through there.
Thanks again everyone.
Awwww, thanks so much, you guys! We really are best buddies and love spending time together -- and with friends like you guys.
I took too long to post, and Howie beat me here! Like he said, we plan an afternoon and evening in Columbus. We'll go to German Village and hit our favorite book store, The Book Loft (http://bookloft.com) and then go next door to Cuppa Joe's for some coffee and people-watching. We might try the Japanese Steakhouse for dinner, or maybe stick with Schmidt's Sausage House right in German Village.
Oh, man, look how young and thin we were back in 1992!
Very cool. The gift of togetherness is my favorite gift!
Sounds like all is going well today to me!
The gift of stone-laying sounds pretty good, too! (Maybe if you moan loud enuff you'll get a back massage!?) ;>)
Oh, he did a GREAT job, too. Whatta guy. :)
Hehehe...folks! GW is fanning her face, and swooning!
Reckon she's in love...!
♫ Whatta guy...! ♫
Congratulations!
Happy Anniversary, sounds like it's going to be a good one.
Happy Anniversary to one of the greatest couples I have ever met.
Togetherness is the best gift! You two are so lucky that you are able to enjoy each day together. Still think a visit to a bookstore is a hot date! Althought having those patio stones would make my heart a'flutter - think I'll ask my DH to read these posts.
Hope your day was what you both wanted. D.
Schmidt's in the German Village! Arrrgghh!!! Been there, miss that! Go there Go there. OH, my mouth is watering...wah!!!!!!!!!!! Woops, Happy Anniversary and God's blessings to you both!
Happy Anniversary to you guys!! Hope you have many, many more.

Diana
Happy Anniversary! Sounds like a wonderful day you have planned. DH and I love going to bookstores too, especially ones that have a Starbucks! Have a great day!!!
How wonderful..Happy Anniversay and many many more...
Thanks again, everyone! Our plans deviated a little from the original, but in the spirit of spontenaity, we rolled with it. We decided to try Outback Steakhouse since Howie'd never eaten there, and wish now we'd just gone to Schmidt's (you're so right, Vic!).
Howie was pretty sore from all the yard work he did Saturday, so the Book Loft wouldn't have been such a fun thing with three floors of rooms; we opted to do a little browsing at Meijer (imagine Super Wal-Mart and that's pretty much what I'm talking about). Really romantic, huh?! Actually, we laughed and had a good time just schlepping around looking at everything.
We even found a nice woodblock set of JA Henckels knives on clearance there. Now, I know it's supposed to be bad luck to buy a bride and groom knives for their wedding, but we figured we've been married long enough that they posed no risk to us if we got 'em on our anniversary.
By the time we got out of Mejer, it was 9:30pm and the coffee shops were all closing down shortly (this ain't New York, guys!). We headed for the Flying J truckstop for coffee and dessert...
And wireless access -- Well, sort of. I had a whole post written out there on my PDA for this thread, but the free sample access timed out and my connection was lost, along with my long post. Aaaargh.
After a while here, we'll pop in the DVD's of our wedding and honeymoon photos. It's been a really nice afternoon and evening, even if it wasn't what we set out to do. Sometimes the unexpected is more fun, anyhow!
I'm late in offering best wishes, but they are no less heartfelt Kimberly. Isn't it nice to have a special day based on who you are with rather than where you go!
Yes, it is nice, Weez. :) Hey, we've not gone to bed yet, so it's still our anniversary until we wake up Monday morning (ahem, or afternoon) I figure!
Best wishes from me too!
Two lovely people
I didn't know you'd chosen leap day! Cool ;)
Ah, better leap day than our anniversary date. Dennis & I got married on Pearl Harbor Day. After all the cocktails he had at our reception, I guess both Pearl Harbor and Dennis got bombed on December 7, ... a day that will live in infamy!
LOLOL Carol!!!
That sounds quite an occasion
Hah! Well, I'm pleased to have met Mr. Infamous' better half. ;)
Well, Gardenwife, you and Howie took the leap on Leap day, and I'm glad to say that Dennis & I refrained from declaring war on one another!
Your wedding picture is beautiful as you both are...blessings for many many happy fun filled years..
Couldn't be on-line last night so belated Best wishes for at least another 12 years. 50% of Marrieds don't make 3 years. Guess you guys are stuck with each other. Thank you both for all the help you give on DG. Frank
Aww gee, I can't believe I missed this either!
Belated wishes for neatest couple on DG!
With Hugs,
Vi
Thanks. We had the BEST wedding day, just a blast. We got a real kick out of watching the DVD's last night, though it was sad to see how many of our wedding guests have passed away in 12 years.
Here's something fun from our hometown paper, a five-year-old becoming a father on leapday (well, sort of): http://www.newarkadvocate.com/news/updates/4584.html
