WatchDog suggestion

Is it possible that the "Feedback History and Summary" could be linkable?

For example, BlueStone Perennials has a TON of positives, and only three negatives. I think a great feature would be making the negatives "clickable", sorting out just the negative feedback. Then, instead of having to scroll through the list, I could see just the negatives, and get a better feel for whether the negatives are substantial or not.

Then, for companies with a LOT of negatives, clicking the negatives would allow a reader to see if there is a theme to the complaints: small plants, often dead, bad refund policies, poor customer service, etc.

It would save a reader time if they wanted to just view all positives, and all negatives together, instead of scrolling through the lists a couple times.

Does anybody else think this is a neat idea? I'm sure adding it wouldn't be easy, but thought I'd mention it anyways.

It's a good idea, but I don't know what it does to system performance, nor what it would take for Dave to program it.

This'll have to be postponed and put onto my long-term TODO, as it would be fairly involved. It would be a nice feature.

Thanks. I wasn't suggesting it get done right away, only that it would be a neat addition.

renewing my request ... Also asking that this be a "sortable" feature in the new trade rating system. Then, if one particular person is giving *everybody* a negative because they expect too much, we can easily find it.

Thanks for bumping this thread! I have added this feature.

Can we have it in the trader-rating system, as well, please?

Probably not. The trading rating system is NOT an application like the watchdog. It is intended to be very simple and I do prefer to keep it that way.

What would be nice, though - is to be able to see (as we can with the Watchdog) a summary of each member's feedback they've left for others. So you can instantly get a sense of their "modus operandi" (Did they leave all positives and one negative, or are they an all-around naysayer and left negatives for everyone they've rated?)

Love it!!! Thanks Dave!

Am I missing something? What is the trader rating system? I have not done any trades yet so maybe that is why I can't see it.

Edited to say...
Duh! Now I see it. Just had not read Dave's other post yet.

Dave & Terry - Here is an article in this month's eBay Chatter newsletter explaining why they keep the feedback ratings in chronological order. Thought that you might find it of interest.
