I read that I was supposed to prune my crepe myrtle last Winter, but I didn't. Should I prune it now or this Spring or does it matter?

Tallen, I pruned mine early last spring, but not much, and it didn't hurt it. I was behind in timing, as you are.

Some say you don't have to prune them at all. Mine is a bush one, and I prune it in the spring after danger of frost.
