Back in the UK...

Huntington Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I've been wondering where you went. Sounds like a beautiful Spring move for you. We all hope everything goes smoothly for you and your family. Your going to be very busy until then, but keep us informed of any news, ok?

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

philomel - I'm enjoying your continued journey... don't be too surprised if you have someone knocking on your door asking if this is the France DG Roundup. :)

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

What a treat that would be :)
Mind you, I think a French DG roundup might be a little thin on the ground - I think there's only one other subscriber there.

We'll just have to import plenty of people from the US!

Little Falls, MN(Zone 4a)

So nice to hear from you again...was wondering where you had gone off to...but I can understand how busy you are...good luck with you move and hoped all goes well...sounds like a big job and I sure don't envy you...but I do envy that beautiful home you're moving to...keep us informed.

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

It's easier than it might be as we're all moving together and giving each other a hand
But it is a lot to get the head round ;)

We're into telling all the official bods our change of address now - which makes it all much more real and immediate

It's so lovely to feel all the good wishes and support flying across the atlantic, so many good friends here :D

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

I'm on my way, also - I arrive in Ireland Thur night. And yes, it's amazing how real it becomes. :)

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

I am so happy for you and your family Hilary. I know this has been a dream for a while and now you are moving to a dream property. I hope you don't have to do too much work to the inside of your new home to make it "yours".

I can see now that the yard will be getting a real workover as time goes by. What fun you have ahead in your new venture.

I guess when we have my dream vacation to Austria we now have to go there by way of Southern France.

Hugs and prayers for all of you, Lani

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

Yes, sandra - wow your huge new adventure is SO SOON!

I know it'll work out to be everything you could dream of and will be thinking of you. Please stop by if you can get to SW France!

....and you Lani, that would be so cool :)

Grove City, OH(Zone 6a)

Phil, after my long absence, I hadn't known you were moving across the Channel. I know you will be happy in your new digs, and it does look incredible.

In '82 I took the train from Madrid to Paris, and I do believe I saw this place (or one very similar) as I was passing through the region. Lovely :D

My SIL and niece are spending 2 weeks in France in June. Will you be ready for visitors by then? Not sure their itinerary, but I know they will be at least 5 days in the Paris region, visiting some of our family connections.

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

Lovely to see you again lupi now you've emerged from the study (Fabulous result !!!!!:)

To catch you up, there's quite a bit on this thread http://davesgarden.com/t/417984/

We certainly should have the one bed-roomed apartment ready by June. I'll send an email with more info.
There's loads to see in the area and some GORGEOUS villages and countryside to visit. Only an hour to the Pyrenees too :)

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

good luck, sounds like a lot of fun for you and the family!

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

Thanks pebble :)
Are you doing a trip back to America very soon - I thought I read somewhere? If so I hope it goes really well. It's tough when you're life's split between two distant places...

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

Great news to hear Philomel..one step at a time....soon your dream will be reality.

Cheers,
Carol
