I cant believe how this site has grown!
I remember when-----it wasnt much more than a plant list and a journal!
WOWZERZ! We is growing like FLOWERZ! :)

Anybody want to make a guess on when the 80,000th member will sign up? My guess is around midnight tonight. Wow! that's a bunch of gardeners! When I signed up there were 300 or 400. Dave, this just goes to show that you had a great idea. Of course you knew that.

im going to say 9:30 or so-they sign on like every three mintues or so!!!

How about another contest, Shoe? A prize for the closest guess to hitting 80,000? That'd be fun! Or Dave - a year free subscription to the 80,000 member or the one that guesses the time the closest? one guess per member.....Or maybe someone else has an idea????

My guess is a little later, like 7:48 am.

Just a couple of days ago I looked at the membership meter it was 79666... The speed of growth is awesome :/

Boy, I can't believe the way my eyes are working. I thought we just had two to go. Guess I better get on the phone and make that appointment. LOL!! Dave has done very well with this site. I'm proud of him and Daves Garden and so happy that I found this place.

Hey - tried to e-mail dbelljr from his/her member page, but it just took me back to the DG main page.Is there a typo in the name?

This brings up a good point -- could people be given a 404 if they go to an invalid member page? As it is now, if you manually type in the URL to a member name, it shows a page and links for e-mail, etc. (just no date of sign-up).

GW, I had the same problem and why is it that the box does not fit on my screen and I have to scroll over to read the whole message? So far, I've only noticed on this thread, wondered if anyone else had that problem. Wonder where dbelljr is from. I know a dbell here in KY, wouldn't that be a hoot.:)

I went down the member page 'D' until I got to the end and there is a typo in the nickname. It is 'debelljr'. Misty - mine is doing that too. The whole message is on my screen by not the right side bar without sliding it over.
