I have not gotten lost but circumstances have kept me away for awhile and will be limiting my time for awhile. So please take care and have a wonderful spring. I will check in as possible.

The hole in the wall has been patched, the carpet has been dried out and the computer is hooked up again. Both Mom and Dad are now out of the hospital and I am starting to see the daylight again.

Thankyou. I post personal stuff on my blog but not much anywhere else, so you had no way of knowing ;~) LOL and I forgot to say that they fixed the window in the Van so it is now safe to drive again!

I told Bob I was starting to feel a bit like that cartoon where the rain cloud follows me about and rains on my parade! But it looks like we may have a break in the storms for awhile.... I Hope!

Zany, good to hear that things are better. I hope they will continue to improve for you. I remember that character. I am always telling folks about that but not many remember him. His name was Joe something. It seems that there were a lot of crazy letters in his last name. Maybe even a Mc to start with. Does anyone remember? I can just see that slumped over little guy with the raining cloud following over his head every where he went. I think he had a hat pulled down over his head also. Wasn't he a Lil Abner character?

I've heard of Lil Abner and seen the art, but he was before my time. Here's Joe:

That is one cute little guy! Thanks so much for finding him for us, Kim. I have often told folks that I feel just like him and no one ever knew who I was talking about. (Not everyone is as old as I am!) Now, I have him stored in my computer files and can pull him out at a moments notice to explain who I am talking about. LOL!
