Hey, that's really neat. You have some lovely photos, too.

Psilo, loved your bird travels pages. I surely would like to go there sometime. The birds we have called by the same name are sometimes very differen--robin, and goldfinch especially. Here the mudhens-coots are not held in high esteem as they eat so many other baby ducks. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Donna

My pleasure everyone. Im glad that you liked them. People keep asking me where I go to do my photography or just to watch birds and the answer is many places!! I hope to add many more sites in the future.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Great idea! I loved my tour of the United Kingdom. Thanks

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

I really enjoyed the bird watching tour without getting my feet muddy! I was thinking just what Donna said, we have robins and goldfinches that look quite different from the British varieties. I hope you get to visit the same place when the young ducks and geese are hatched. Keep that camera handy.

Dont worry Mary I intend to visit Martinmere often and watch those babies growing up! I know with the American Robin it was named by a british coloniser who was reminded of our robin when he saw it but the gold finches are quite different too. I have alot more photos to upload so do visit again )

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

I'll be sure to do that, thank you.
