Anybody have a new baby boy?

Most of you know I am expecting and I work at a large chain store. Well last month I picked up four newborn boy outfits figuring I could give them as gifts. Guess what? Everybody I know is having girls-including me! LOL Anyway, these outfits would have cost about $43 and I only paid a bit less than $11 for them. All the tags are still on them. These would be perfect for a newborn or premie. They only go up to 8.5 pounds. They are all heavy t-shirt material. Three are long sleeve one piece outfits, the other is a long sleeve onsie t-shirt with a coverall. Two of the one piece are the same. I can return them and get my money back but since they were so reasonable, I thought I'd see if anyone wanted them for what I paid or trade. I can post pics too.

Okay, I CAN see them again. LOL Does anybody need pacifiers or bottles or onsies? I think the little bit of clearance that is left is boy or neutral. SOMEBODY bought all the girl stuff. ;)

If anything is left, Ill take it all . My daughter just found out her baby due in June( My first Grandbaby!!!!) is a boy. Want to spoil him as much as possible , them being in Texas and me in Indiana. Lou

The four outfits are spoken for and that is all I have right now. I worked again last night and looked around and naked is the best word for our clearance section. It's amazing how quickly things go! We get in all new patterns and such every spring and fall and have to discount whatever we have to make room. It sure goes fast! I could have bought a "Pack and Play" for $26 and let it get away. I had one a few days ago for $36 and would you not know, I let a shopper have it without thinking. KICK MYSELF! LOL

Gee, Badseed.. I would have been interested if the sizes were right. I became a great grandmother for the first time,fourteen days ago, but he weighed 9lb 130z. Here he is at 10 minutes old. My DH was going to take him a "Happy Meal" at the hospital,LOL.

Wow Gin! Did he come out walking and talking?? LOL What a cutie! The look on his face kind of says "Give me a happy meal NOW!". I love baby boys but someone decided I should not have any. LOL My sister and I joke that after our upbringing, God thought it best to only give us girls. :) She has four girls (by three different husbands none the less). I should clarify that my father WAS umm, a bit Archie Bunker in his younger days.

As far as merchandise, I don't get a great discount (a whoppin 10%) or any special perks, I just know when we have sales and clearance. ;) If there is someone that can't get out or just plain hates shopping, I'd be glad to pick something up for you, but you probably could do just as well shopping online.

thats all I got at kmart when I worked there. It isnt alot unless you buy alot.

I try to check out the clearance areas myself as much as I can. Love to shop especially sales.

BS, I still think you NEED to raise a boy. They are such a dream when all grown up. Give you hugs like you are really loved. Girls only will get makeup all over your clothes and hair on your floors.

Ginlyn, what a beautiful baby! Makes life worth living to have something like that to hold in your arms and help mold into a fine young man.

BS I'm ALWAYS looking for clothing for my kids. I love name brands but HATE the price!! Girl(5) sz6 Boy(8) sz 12. If you see anything great let know.

BS, You would be spoiled to have a boy. I had my son first and then 2 girls. I say give me boys anyday! They melt a mother's heart. :)

congratulations Notmartha! You will be hugging babies very soon. How fun is that? Then you can send them home when they cry.

You know, elderly women come up to me any time I am out with the kids and tell me how blessed I am to have daughters. Every one of them has told me it's the girls that are around to help you when you get old and they don't hear from the boys as often.

Hey Tina! There is a small problem. They way clearance works where I work, you have to buy it the second you see it or it's GONE! I often go home to think about something and when I go back the next day.....I kind of use that as my excuse. I figure if it's still there I was meant to have it and if it's gone, I should not have spent the money. LOL

Molly, I wrote back to you yesterday. Hmmm, let me see if I can find it and I will resend it.

Being that this is baby number six, I'm probably done (so no boys! giggle). I am also into month eight which means my days at work are coming to an end soon. I guess my near future luxury purchases are going to be diaper and wipes. ;)

Belive it or not, this is the eighth month! Sometimes it feels like I have been pregnant forever and other days I can't believe it's the end. LOL I'll be 32 weeks on Monday. I'm hoping this one will get here at about 38 weeks like the last one. My first four were born at 42 weeks. I think it seems so long to you because I knew I was prego within two weeks and I told everyone. LOL The other girls are 2,4,6,8 and 10.

Bad is not working on a girls baseball team she is mearly trying to insure the Social Security program has enough young workers to ensure our checks keep coming in our golden years.

I saw a great new product at home depoe it is called Add A Room. It is aeroisol and is easy to apply. You just pick an outterwall and spray it with this stuff let cure 24 hours then cut in one entrance interior door and thats it. The add says great for expanding families. Ernie
