garden makeover

Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

hi all

as many of you know my garden went through a major make over which finished this time last year. I have finally got round to putting photos on the 'net http://www.snowdropinfo.com/garden_make_over.htm The makeover continues today, weather permitting. Another raised bed, the 5th, and a rockery/scree bed are planned

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

wow mark, looks great!!!!!!!!

Mark - very nice. Excellent use of a small space. That's something I am probably going to have to learn more about. I'm probably moving to Dublin in a month or so to start a new job. With luck, I'll be able to have a small yard. Or is that "with money"?

what's in all the pots?

I didnt say that all the small images are linked to larger images.

In the pots which are now emptied were about 30 different Argyranthemums. In their place will be the new raised bed. The space between the two fences at the far side of the raised http://www.snowdropinfo.com/9.html is where the rockery and scree will be.

When you arrive in Dublin let me know and I'll come down and bring you around the best garden in Ireland - National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin. Dublin has a milder climate than up here and is possibly Z9. Make sure you buy a house with a garden on the south side to make most of the sun. It hasnt cost much to do my garden. The rocks were $15 a ton and the broken paving came free from the local Roads Service yard.

Nice work, Mark. I really enjoyed the pictures and am looking forward to the next ones covering your new project.

Mark - thank you! I'd love to take you up on the offer for the trip to the garden. Not sure that I'll buy since the assignment is most likely only a few years, but, who knows? :)

I did get a chance to tour Garinish Island off Cork last spring and it was wonderful - the micro-climate allowed for some wonderful plants that might not ordinarily grow in Ireland.

Mark, You have put in a lot of work and time on your garden and it shows. It is lovely. Donna
