Best coastal community to move to?

Dripping Springs, TX

I friend of mine wants to move to a home on the beach. But there are some many places to choose from. She wants it warm. I don't know if she would move to an island. I would! What do you think?

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

The Finnish coast or archipelago in Summer. hahah :D

Lindale, TX(Zone 8a)

Take a look at Corpus Christi, Texas. All the conveniences of the city with the bay and Padre Island beaches minutes away. No state income tax. Great place to retire.

Lappeenranta, Finland(Zone 3a)

There are many nice coasts in Greenland too;)

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

The Oregon Coast would be my choice. Not too cold if in southern OR. The whole coast is beautiful. The Willamet River valley is just inland and there are all those great plant nurseries, and wonderful growing conditions. Donna

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

I have lived on the southern Oregon coast and I would not recommend it to someone who likes it quite warm as the coastal breezes can make it fairly cool year round but I sure liked the climate and that is where we plan to retire if possible. I do love cooler weather without harsh winters.

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

Does your friend have a choice of state?? Florida has lots of places on both the east or west coasts.

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

Florida panhandle

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Michigan.
