I am sorry i am late.Yummy,the cake looks mouthwater dripping.this year's birthday is special for me.At noon Wife cooked a carp fish (boiled without being split into halves).eating a carp on the birthday dinner is a custom in my area,which means 'passover'--passing over all the tribulations which might exist ahead on the future road.
i had a good eat of it including the head and the tail.this is necessary,which promises that 'happy life will last endlessly'.in the evening Son ordered a cake with words on it'everything will go on at your will'.several of my little newphews came together.they sang a birthday song for me,and then shared the cake -- each one was finger lickin.
Well,that is the way i celebrated this year's occasion of mine.
These few days i was waiting for my choice anxiously.
i had quitted from the school in Chaozhou,but the new school which previously i sent my resume to give me no final word.you know,finding a job is not so easy a job in modern times in our land.there are so many people to run for a single post.i noticed when i was having the interview with the principal,the resumes being piled on the writing desk might over 1000 copies,and what's more,there are over 1000 files more stored in the school computer network.what the school needed new employees is just a tiny fraction(about half a dozen).can't you imagine it?
So happy to tell you just the day before yesterday the school human resource department informed me that i was chosen formally as one of their members.in a few days i will be on duty,heheheh

Well,on February 3th,I,together with my son,will start out for the school.it is about 15 hours' train ride from my hometown to the school.(when everything is arranged well,my wife will follow me there)Because it is the Spring Festival rush days,i am afraid that we will have to stand on the way,heheheh.too many people,limited seats available.i will come here when we get there.so long then,friends.
