Tomtom, great news... hope you get lots of pods. Make sure the pods are dry before you pick them. If I remember correctly the seeds were black. These may not have been ready yet.
So far, about 7 pods left on mine.. but they are not dry yet. Here's crossing my fingers. If not, then there's next year..
Has anyone grown this Morning Glory? Ipomoea andersonii
Hummm, the seed of Andersonii that I planted were a reddish brown and were fuzzy. They looked alot like seed of "Rose of Sharon" I though they were really strange looking and at first though someone made a mistake and sent the wrong seed....
LOL
But so far this is what my vine looks like and it is just starting to twine around the support. I have talked to others about the seed and there seed was fuzzy to, so I think the seed I planted is Andersonii....
WW, that is how my vine looked the first year. I sure don't remember if they had fuzz or not (the seeds were from T&M I think), it has been so long. At that time, I was just learning about Ipomoeas and did not think to pay attention to the seeds, they all looked alike to me, lol. I'll say one thing though, once your vine starts to grow, watch out, it will just take off.
Now, I try to jot down things about the plant, seeds, etc. This sure has been a learning experience for me and I am loving every minute of it.
Gourd
Thanks ,I'll wait patiently.
i would love some too please but only if you have enough after everyone else plmk and thxs
