I am sad.
Gloria I love you
Glory
All who knew her loved her.She has left an empty spot here that will never be filled.
A sad day for family and friends...
I shall hold ALL in thought and prayer.
A Glorious Day for Gloria as she began a 'new life of eternity'!
She leaves many a 'smile' behind as we will forever gaze on the beautiful plants she gave the world. And we know with each glance ...our soul has been touched, always.
Angie yes that's her. I was going to wait to do this but I promised Gloria I would post these pictures again when she was in Gods hands. She wanted us to all laugh and remember her this way. She was such a great lady. This was in June she was living each day to its fullest. She had such a great time. I really wanted to wait but Roz told me to go on and post them now.
I am so sad to see her pass )o;
But know she is in a better place. Brug heaven (o:
A wonderful, wonderful friend.
May she rest in peace ((*))

I'm so sorry to hear of her passing! She is no longer in pain. She is in a better place now and will be eternally surrounded by her beautiful garden.
The Brugs that she created will help keep her memory alive and will bring a smile to our lips, each time we remember her! She may be gone from our sight, but she will never be forgotten!!
I am so sad. Gloria sent me my very first brug seed that I grew into a blooming plant. It's now 2 years old, and I have it in a dormant stage now, but I feel the need to go get it out and start it growing again. I am so sad, but also glad that she is free from pain now and in God's loving hands.
This is very sad news, but she is free of pain, and in a better place.Although I never met her,I have heard of her generosity. My prayers go to her family, who are missing a wonderful and kind person.

Such sad news. Gloria sent me my first cuttings last February and they have been blooming joyfully since Fall. Her generosity has been an inspiration and example to me. Thank you Gloria for the gift of yourself which blessed so many of us as we nurtured our brugs under your watchful eye. May your family and friends find peace and serenity in the memories you left with us. Padre
And I was hoping she would be able to come to the swap again. This is a shock, didn't realize it was that bad for her. She was a very sharing person, we will all miss her. So sorry I didn't call you while there this week Roz, but I messed up the meeting with Donna, had my MIL with me and just didn't feel I could leave her too much.
I am copying this thread and giving it to Ron. Ron, Ronnie, and Deidre' sincerely appreciate all the kind and heartfelt words from so many of you.
Well i had to compose my self before writing, I am very sad by this News, she will be greatly missed. I didn't realize she was that far along in her sickness, I was hoping and praying that she would be rid of her pain and better soon, I see God answered my prayers just not how i was expecting. You don't think you can get close to someone you haven't met, when you join a web site and start chatting, but you do , I realized that today. God blees You and keep you in your time of grief Ron .
Even though I never got the privilege of meeting this unique and talented lady, I know she was loved as much as one can be loved. My deepest sympathies to her family, and to all of you here, who knew and loved her. GOD bless each of you.
I am sorry I did not get to know her and I am greatly saddened by this news...her family will be in my prayers.

Another picture of Gloria from last June at Roz's house. I took so many pictures of Gloria and Ron and everyone else that was there. Lisa also took many. Unfortunately, when my hard drive went out I lost all of them. Don't put off putting your pictures on a CD so that you won't have the same regrets that I have.
All of us laughed so much and had so much fun, that I hated to get up and leave to use the bathroom . . afraid I would miss out on something.
In this picture Gloria had her elbow poking up to make her chest look larger. We were all being so silly and having fun. I have many wonderful memories of Gloria and lots of laughter.
Every time Lisa and I went there, off to the casino we would go . . a favorite of Gloria's . . of course, she was much better at winning than I. Her mom, Audrey, loved to go to the casino also and we would always pick her up and take her with us. I can certainly see why Gloria was a special lady . . she has quite a special lady for a mother.
Gloria loved her family dearly and I can understand why. I pray for strength for all of them to get through this sad time.
Please all, keep putting up pics of Glory,it is helping me,she was a sweetheart!
my heart felt sympathy to all of you who shared in her life. i never spoke with her, but i'm sure i have shared in her knowledge through her written word on the brug and/or other forums. god bless you all debi z
My computer has been not working right for a long time. It was in computer hosp. this week. Just got it back and so learned about Glory. Am sorry for the grief for her family. I never met her and wish I might have. Donna
Wish I had known her. She was very special and had many friends.
I just returned home from a trip and found out this sad news. Glory, you will be missed greatly, but not forgotten. I think Lisa said it all in her poem. The only thing I could add would be that those of you who did not know her personally, missed out on meeting a truly beautiful lady, both inside and out. One day my friend, I hope we can meet again!!!!!
Larry
So sad to read this. I think Glory sent me some of my first brug cuttings.
